An increasingly popular alternative to a surgery, a non-surgical rhinoplasty uses dermal fillers to sculpt and alter the shape of the nose.
What is non-surgical Rhinoplasty?
Non-surgical rhinoplasty is a quick procedure which gives immediate results, without the need for general anaesthetic. It can be used to straighten the bridge of the nose, level out bumps, fill lumps and to reshape the tip.
This non-surgical option can considerably change the appearance of the nose but without any of the risks of a traditional surgical rhinoplasty. It removes the need for a long healing process after the procedure. Although results are temporary, lasting approximately 12 months, it also has the benefit of being able to better visualise how the nose could look after permanent surgery.
What does the treatment involve?
During your initial consultation, we will discuss what is concerning you about your nose and the ideal results you hope to gain from the procedure.
Local anaesthetic will be used to numb the area and make sure there is no discomfort during the treatment. Tiny, ultrafine needles will be used to inject dermal filler into the bridge or tip of your nose, which is then moulded into the desired shape.
The procedure is completed quickly and is pain-free. You may experience redness or swelling in the area but this will settle after a few days.
