A non-invasive treatment designed to raise and reposition the eyebrows using threadlifts. This procedure also opens up the eyes and stretches any sagging skin on the upper eyelid.
What are threadlifts?
Threadlifts use specialised surgical threads to lift and rejuvenate sagging skin. These threads can be used to lift skin at the cheeks, jowls, mouth and neck. They are made from a special material that, over time, is broken down as it improves healing and collagen production in the skin.
How do they work?
When placed, the threads re-suspend areas that are sagging. Along the area that enters the tissue, there are cone-like shapes which latch into the tissue as the threads tight, lifting the skin. There’s an immediate improvement as the threads are placed.
The threads cause the tissue to respond as if there was an injury, which is a benefit as the healing process boosts collagen, naturally rejuvenating the skin. The final results appear after 10-14 days. The threads naturally dissolve and the results last around 18 months.
What does the treatment involve?
You will have a full consultation where we will discuss the treatment and the results you are after. Your appointments will then be booked in.
We will use local anaesthetic to reduce discomfort during the procedure. The eyebrows and outer edges of your eyes are then raised using dissolvable threadlifts, inserted with a needle. The effect is noticeable immediately and can be altered if necessary during the treatment. The results last for up to two years.
You may notice redness or swelling around the treated area, but this should only last a few days.
